LIFESPAN VS HEALTHSPAN

If you don’t know what healthspan means (Figure 1), continue reading. At Kingdom Fitness, we believe that healthspan is being free from serious disease. A disease is considered serious if it is a leading cause of death (Table 1). Why do we care about healthspan? Caring about extending the well-being of one’s life should be imperative. If one is past their healthspan, it means they are chronically sick, often with a degenerative condition. Therefore, at Kingdom Fitness, we believe that staying within your healthspan is critical.
